Love is For All Seasons But Valentines Day Is In The Air

 

 

 Year   2008  had  come  and  gone !  We  have  been  on  year  2009  for  more  than  a  month now  but  the  "  remnants "  of  the  past  months  still  abound  .

The  past  Christmas  here  in  Vancouver  was  truly  a  " White  Christmas "  at  it's  best  or  shall  I  say  at  it's  worst  ?  Up  to  now  ,  we  still   see  the  tell-tale  sign   of  the  white  stuff  that  changed  the  plans  on   Christmas   2008  for  many  Vancouverites  or  maybe   many   British  Columbians .

January 2009  came  and   Lo!  And  Behold  !  Before  we  had  time  to  savour  the  sun  of  the  new  year  , the  fog  came  . It  was  beautiful to  behold  from  afar  but  ...look  for  yourself  ..

 

Can   you  recognize   Vancouver  in  this   fog  ?  Yes  , it  was  truly  an  artist's  paradise   but  realistically  , it  was  quite  hazardous  to  drive  in  this  situation  ..

Vancouverites   had  to  deal  with  this  phenomenon   for  a  short  time ...

Now  , it  is  February  and  we  are  almost  back  to  normal though  not  quite  .  We  still   need  the  heater  in  the  house   and  our   winter  coats   are  still   around  ,   but  maybe  not  our  gloves  and  toques .....

In  a  few  days  , we  are  celebrating   LOVE  . Love  for  God   , love   for  parents  , love  for  a husband  ,  love  for  a  wife  ,  love  for  brothers   and  sisters   , love  for  our   children  , love  for  friends  and  love  for  whoever  you  have  fallen  in  love  with  .   

Let  me  greet  everybody  on  this  special  day   ,  kabaleyans  and  friends . But  let  us  remember  that  we  don't  always  wait  for  Valentines  Day  to  express  how  we  feel .  Let  us  try  to  make  everyday  a  Valentines  Day ..
