There may not be very many MNHS Class '48 members attending the 65th Anniversary of their Alma Mater but their hearts are with the celebrators . Mrs. Elisea Aquino Bayle and Mrs. Norma Tandingan Ramat wish to send their greetings as well as extend their invitations ( though a little bit late ) to their classmates to join the rests of the Alumni in celebrating this milestone in Mangaldan .
Here's the message of Mrs. Bayle and Mrs. Ramat ( inset ) to their classmates :
"MNHS Class '48 invites you to the 65th Foundation Anniversary And grand Alumni Homecoming on February 26 , 27 , 28 and March 1st . Let's relive our youth and the unforgettable memories of our Alma Mater , the Mangaldan High School . Let us be proud and brag that we were pioneers of that history ."

Mrs. Ely Bayle wishes to inform their classmates , friends and Mangaldanians about the passing of their beloved classmate , Edward Evangelista . He succumbed to a lingering illness in Fremont , California . He is survived by his loving wife , Irene Aquino Evangelista , his two sons , Edwin and Edgar , daughter Janet Irene and their grandchildren . Edward is also survived by his siblings abroad and in the Philippines .

From the Mangaldan National High School CLASS '48 Around the World
While I was posting this article , I received another e-mail from Atchi Ely informing me of the passing of their Class '48 valedictorian , Primo Agsaoay two days ago . He is survived by his children , Edwin and Dorothy , Eunice and Jeb , Eric and Effie , Ephraim Primo and Cheryll . He is also survived by his three sisters , Estela , Aster and Rose , grandchildren and other close relatives . His wife , the former Amparo Juguilon predeceased him . He was interned on Feb 7th at the Himlayang Pilipino Memorial Park in Tandang Sora , Quezon City .
In behalf of Mangaldanians in Vancouver I wish to convey our deepest sympathy to the families of Edward Evangelista and Primo Agsaoay . We shall remember them in our prayers .
