Last Saturday, Mangaldanians in Toronto, Canada came together at Scarborough Bluffs to celebrate mid-summer by holding a picnic. Alex Caballero generously recorded the event and is sharing the following pictures for all to see through the Aliguas Mangaldan forum. It looks like it was a potluck event. There were the usual fare: lechon, barbecue (4 types), mangoes, and 'inkalot' fish that look like snappers, sea breem or branzini.
Doing the barbecue is a big deal as it is a special window that comes with summer. One can enjoy the outdoors and engage in a lot of smoke-filled cooking, something you can't do indoors during the longer cold weather season.

Hey, that's Principal Aquino with you. Is he now a resident of Toronto? We campaigned together in the 2004 Mangaldan local elections. Kindly extend my regards to him and his family.
