Early this school year , two of the Biala sisters , Mrs. Perla Biala Cruz and Mrs. Anne Biala De Guzman of California , USA , made invaluable and timely contribution to the Mangaldan Central School.

The Mangaldan Central School ( teachers and students )would like to thank Mrs. Perla Biala Cruz of San Francisco , California for donating three sets of Encyclopedia Britannica . The books were sent via door-to -door transport . This is a very timely opportunity because the school lost 60% of its reference materials due to typhoon Cosme . On the other hand , Mrs. Anne Biala De Guzman , a sister of Perla , gave school supplies ( crayons , pens , glue, and scissors ) to the indigent pupils . Some of these school materials are being given to the pupils who score high in the spelling test which the principal gives whenever she goes around the classrooms . Aside from these school supplies is a cash of $ 100 . This will be allocated to the poor but deserving pupils who would represent the school in various competitions . It will be used to cover their miscellaneous expenses like transportation , registration , etc.
