MANYJER's "Cosme" Fundraising goes to Pogo-Palua Elementary School

Here is the turn over of the Php 83,160.00 from the officers and members of the MANYJER thru Mrs. Nora Moulic to the Municipality of Mangaldan thru Mayor Herminio Romero, which will be handed to Pogo-Palua Elementary thru its principal, Mrs. Gemma Nara. The money will be used to finance the construction of school stage of the said school. I understand the project is worth Php 200,000 hence, the municipality will shoulder the rest.

We are very thankful to associations abroad and to our NGOs here. Theyʼre helping a lot in realizing the programs and projects of this local administration.

Sisterhood City for Mangaldan and Makati

Last Thursday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. was another historic day in Mangaldan as LGU-Mangaldan through Mayor Herminio A. Romero signed the Agreement for the Establishment of a Sisterhood Relationship with the City of Makati through Mayor Jejomar C. Binay. The momentous signing of the pact was witnessed by all the Municipal Officials and employees and representatives from various sectors of the municipality like the Senior Citizens, the education sector, the NGOs, the Barangay Officials, etc. The event held at the Municipal Grounds was well attended.

The Sisterhood Pact is established as the two parties share a common desire to promote and foster strong special ties, mutual understanding, friendship and goodwill. They also share the same intention of creating an atmosphere in which community development can be implemented and strengthened.
