Arturo Quinto Laid To His Final Resting Place

It  was a  sudden  trip to Mangaldan  for  the  Quinto  siblings  when  news  of  their  eldest  brother  Arthur's  sudden  demise  reached  them . After  two  weeks  Belen  Q. Cariaga , Christy  Q. Calimlim , Danny  Quinto and  Silvestre  Jr . are  now  back  to  their  respective  homes  ( away  from  home  ) .

Belen  sent  some  pictures during  their  stay  in the  Philippines , particularly in Mangaldan , to share  with  us  . The  trip  was  a  sad  one  , however , it  gave them  the  opportunity  to  reconnect  with  their  relatives  and  friends  in the Philippines .

The  interment  at  the  Pax  Aeterna   Memorial  Park  in Mangaldan  followed  after  the religious  service at  the Mangaldan  Catholic  church  officiated  by  Father  Morales . Mass  was  previously  celebrated  by  Monsignor  Segundo  Gotoc  at  the  Quinto  residence ..

The 9th day  novena  ( lompos )  breakfast  brought  together  friends  and relatives  again  . At the table  are  from  L-R , Miming  Golea  , Loli  Soco  and  Lydia  de  Guzman  ( former  classmates  of  Arthur ) and  a friend .

 

 Around  this  table  are  Chit  Biala  Magalong , Purita  Lopez  Tamondong , Fely  Soriano  Bernal  and  friends .

 

 

 

 

 

After  the funeral  service and  Lompos , the family  left  for  Manila  to join  other  relatives  and  to  spend  a  special  time  with  each  other .  Shown  here  are Joanna  and  Belen .

Belen  and her siblings  were  overwhelmed  by the  presence  and  support  of  relatives  and  friends ( including  Arthur's classmates ) . They , with  Sheila  and  her  children  and  their families  are taking this opportunity  to express their gratitude  to  all  their relatives  and  friends  who  condoled  with  them  .
