It is so nice to hear once again this song-- "Abante Mangaldan". This song is the popular Mangaldan March provided with a rallying tempo for the people of Mangaldan. It was composed (music and lyrics) by Demetrio Gonzales Sr. in English and Pangasinense.
The "Logor Ed Baley" is the Mangaldan Loyalty Song whose music was composed by Rafael Magno in commemoration of the 375th Foundation Anniversary of Mangaldan. The lyrics were provided by Ernesto M. Serote.
By virtue of SB resolutions, both songs have been adopted as official Loyalty Songs of Mangaldan and it is sang during official occasions/functions of the municipal government, school programs, barangay affairs and even in ordinary occasions in Mangaldan.
Singing these songs make you proud to be a Mangaldanian...Abante Mangaldan!!!

we use to sing these loyalty songs when we were in secondary school, but, it was just a matter of singing and fun, however, no mutekte-ken tayo so inkargada na sayan kanta makapa-begas na bagu manaya, salamat ed SB Resolution in putting these songs Logor ed Baley tan Abante Mangaldan as part of every programme in the official function. Baleg ya salamat ed saray diamante kakabatan di Demetrio Gonzales, Sr, Rafael Magno & Ernesto Serote composers & arrangers ed sarayan kanta tan our late Hon.Mayor Macario G. Ydia who instigated these songs as part and parcel of every Mangaldanian heart.
Thanks to Christine Cera, agay lay abig!!!!
