Last March 3, 2007, the Mangaldan Residents' Group in Vancouver celebrated the hometown fiesta by coming together for a 'lauriat'-style luncheon held at Flamingo Restaurant in Vancouver. Aliguas Mangaldan co-editor Marie Aquino-Junio had posted an article on this in her site, Vancouver with Love. I took a video of the event and just only recently got the chance to edit it. So here are clips of the fiesta celebration in 3 parts. Each clip had to be at least less than 10MB or around 2 minutes long. This is the limitation of our site services. So bear with us to click each video one at a time. They are of course arranged consecutively. Enjoy! And see your kabaleyans in Vancouver rejoice in seeing each other again! (Djoma)

To our "wantoks" (kabaleyan)in Vancouver.
Great to see you are all having a good time.
Indeed, fiestas bring us all together to unwind and find ourselves with our dear friends and wantoks.
Djoma - thanks for sharing the first "uncut" cinema of the celebration.
Cheers ,, Mon Orap

Pec,
Kuya Jhun Jimenez was comparing the 'top gone' of Briggy Miraflor, husband of Rusty Cervas-Miraflor. As you may sense in the din of the noise, almost everybody had a story to share about the year passed. The fiesta brings the townmates to enjoy a respite from work.
